Boizao Brazilian Steak House – Facebook Campaign

About The Client :

Boizao is a Brazilian Steak House located in Tampa Bay and they have been doing business in the area since 2007. The USP of the steak house is offering authentic Brazilian steakhouse dining experience where everything is prepared in traditional manner.

Client’s Requirement :

The client’s Facebook page had low user activity at the beginning of the campaign and the client wanted to create a stronger, more robust presence on Facebook by promoting fan engagement and attracting customers through the social media website. In all, the client wanted increased interaction on Facebook with their customers which would lead to better business at the retail location.

Solution :

We devised a complete social media strategy related to the client’s business and determined the focus areas where we would get the maximum amount of engagement. The focus of all online activities was to increase the “Likes” on the Facebook page of the steak house, facilitate interaction with customer and drive additional business to the client’s retail location through Facebook.

Strategies Followed :

  • We created attractive and professional banner advertisements for the client’s business. On clicking “Like” on the banner advertisement, the user was taken to the client’s Facebook page where he would be able to download a discount coupon for the steakhouse and get discounts on dinner.
  • In order to cash in on the festival season crowd, different banner advertisements were created on Thanksgiving and Veteran’s Day where customers could get discounts on dinner.
  • A special banner advertisement was created for Halloween’s with discounts on dinner and if customers came to the steakhouse dressed in Halloween’s costume, they’d get a complimentary glass of wine.
  • Facebook email lists were created where customers were invited to “Like” the Facebook page of the steakhouse and receive discounts. Email lists have great interaction potential and this helped to increase Boizao’s total “Likes” on Facebook by a great margin.
  • We also created a small number of Facebook user profiles to increase engagement with the Facebook page and to kickstart fan engagement with the Facebook events hosted by the client’s business. The idea was to create a Snowball Effect and drive higher traffic to the Facebook page of Boizao.

Results :

  • Once the campaign was on-way results were visible in as soon as two weeks and the client saw more customers who were bringing the discounts coupons through Facebook to the retail establishment.
  • The number of “Likes” on the page doubled in two weeks and by the end of the campaign the “Likes” were at a respectable 2000+ from 400+ at the beginning of the campaign.
  • Every prospective promotional post on the Facebook page had greater penetration among the targeted clientele as more people liked, shared and commented on the posts such as discount coupons for dinner or free wine offers for lucky customers.

To start with the SEM team at Netsmartz analyzed the entire website on various parameters including – the on-page and off-page factors, advertising campaigns being undertaken by the client at his end and other online promotional activities to suggest a comprehensive strategy which took care of Forbes’ online business objectives.

Since the custom packaging products industry was found to be fairly competitive, a complete online marketing plan was initiated so as to address all the challenges which primarily included top rankings for some really competitive keywords! An exhaustive keyword research was carried out and on the basis of this analysis; a complete optimization for the site was implemented.
